Mobile Modern Mimimalist Black

Modern Art Mobile for the minimalist home.  What a fantastic example of black mobile art for the minimalist home. It features clean lines and great styling. It moves very gracefully and is quite large. At 45 inches wide it would be a great addition to your modern living area or look great above a kitchen island. In the modern nursery it can easily transition from the nursery to the big kids room. It hugs the ceiling making it great for homes with lower ceilings. See below for more construction detail info.  This mobile is Made to Order and takes about 5 to 10 days to ship out.

Art Mobiles are the perfect enhancement to any room. They bring a sense of wonder and curiosity to any space. Some are made to hug the ceiling (20 inches tall or less) making a small space like an apartment or loft seem roomier, bigger somehow. Others are perfect for the entryway or stairway. I have seen many hang over the island in a kitchen and in the corner of the dining room as a conversation piece. Dentist and Doctors offices benefit from the calming effect the mobile provides both in the waiting and examining rooms. But no matter where you hang one rest assured you will find many peaceful moments while looking at them. They distract and sometimes seem almost hypnotic in movement. Staring at one is like daydreaming on purpose. Perfect to help calm the stressful moments in your life. They are not just for the nursery or playroom, they are for everyone!

Approx Measurements - 45" wide x 16" tall - Needs a space at lest 49 inches wide to move freely! The components are the thickness of one credit cards on edge to keep the sculpture light and moving in very soft air currents. Components range in size from 1-1/2" x 4" to 2-1/2" x 6-1/2".

The components are created with a flexible molded plastic material.   Extremely light, cleaning friendly, and made to last and last this style of mobile sculptures can be placed in higher moisture areas like your porch, patio, or bathroom. But, like a fine sculpture, it should not be kept in direct sunlight or within reach of a sweet baby's hands.

I finally quit my day job 01/11/13! Now I have the great pleasure and joy of creating these great mobiles daily. I begin by cutting the shapes and then carefully connecting them to the stainless steel wire. Then a perfect balancing act begins while I twist and bend the wire into perfectly balanced sculptures.

Upon completion, I sit back and watch the movement, making sure it flows nicely and is interesting to watch. Each one is made one by one, handmade with quality and love. The wire is stainless steel. They are very well made and should last for many many years and quite probably a lifetime.

Thanks to the Mississippi Arts Commission for making the continuation of my work and progression of my artistic development flourish with their approval of a number of arts mini-grants! I am very grateful!
