Modern Art Mobile for the Nursery, playroom or classroom . Created by Carolyn Weir of Skysetter Designs - You order it, I make it! This is great for anyone with high ceilings or stairways. From hook to bottom of mobile is only 27 inches!  Made to order - Ships in approx 3 to 5 business days

APPROX MEASUREMENTS - 22" wide x 27" tall - Needs a space at lest 25 inches wide to move freely! The components are the thickness of one credit card on edge to keep the sculpture light and moving in very soft air currents.

The components are created with a flexible acrylic molded plastic material, very similar to the thin cutting boards you find in the housewares section of your favorite department store. Extremely light, cleaning friendly, and made to last and last. This new line of solid color sculptures can be placed in higher moisture areas like your porch, patio, or bathroom. But, like a fine sculpture, it should not be kept in direct sunlight or within reach of a sweet baby's hands. Individual components range in size from 3" x 1.5" to 4" x 2". Circle in the middle is 2.5"

THIS MOBILE CAN BE HAND PAINTED TO COORDINATE YOUR DECOR FOR AN ADDITIONAL $15. I only ask that you provide me with paint chip numbers.

I can't wait to wake up in the morning and get into my studio! It is sheer joy that drives me to create these beautiful sculptures! For each sculpture I begin by cutting the shapes and then carefully connect them to the stainless steel wire. Then a perfect balancing act begins while I twist and bend the wire into perfectly balanced sculptures.

Upon completion, I sit back and watch the movement, making sure it flows nicely and is interesting to watch. Each one is made one by one, handmade with quality and love. The wire is stainless steel. They are very well made and should last for many many years and quite probably a lifetime.

Thanks to the Mississippi Arts Commission for making the continuation of my work and progression of my artistic development flourish with their approval of a mini-grant in 2010, 2011 and 2013! I am very grateful!
