Blue and Turquoise – Tiny Hand-Painted Nursery Mobile
There is something magical about gentle movement in a quiet room.
I created this one-of-a-kind kinetic mobile as part of my Hand-Painted Series, beginning with an original abstract painting on Evolon, a remarkable non-woven textile that is incredibly lightweight yet exceptionally strong and stable. I chose Evolon not simply because it is lightweight, but because its unique qualities allow movement to become an integral part of the artwork itself.
Each painted shape is individually hand-cut, balanced, and suspended from hand-formed stainless steel rods. Even the slightest movement of air brings the composition to life, creating ever-changing relationships between color, balance, and space.
Its smaller size makes it especially well suited for nurseries, reading corners, children's rooms, or any intimate space where a touch of gentle movement can create a sense of calm.
Because every mobile begins as an original hand-painted artwork, no two will ever be exactly alike.
