Blue Nocturne – Original Hand-Painted Mobile

Blue Nocturne is the quiet one in this collection.

Layers of slate, indigo, denim and smoky blue create a contemplative composition of painted circular forms suspended from a hand-formed stainless steel structure.

Each element begins as part of an original abstract painting, preserving visible brushwork, overlapping color and subtle variations across the surface. Once cut and balanced into the mobile, those fragments of painting become a constantly changing composition.

The individual elements turn and move independently with gentle air currents, revealing different painted surfaces and altering their relationship to one another.

At approximately 19" wide × 26" tall, Blue Nocturne's vertical proportions make it particularly well suited to corners, beside a window, near a reading chair or anywhere you'd like artwork that adds movement without visual clutter.
