Garden Along the Quiet Fence - Impressionist Acrylic Painting
This painting came from that soft, fleeting window between late spring and early summer — when everything feels lush, layered, and just a little bit dreamlike. I was drawn to the rhythm of the fence line holding steady across the middle, while the garden in front of it moves freely with color, texture, and light.
The poppies became the heartbeat of the piece — bold, red bursts rising out of a sea of greens, with touches of lavender and wild growth weaving through. Behind them, the trees are intentionally softened, creating a sense of depth and atmosphere rather than detail. I wanted this to feel like a memory of a place, not just a recording of it.
Painted in acrylic on an 18" x 24" gallery-wrapped canvas, this piece is ready to hang and brings a sense of calm, warmth, and natural movement into a space. It’s grounded, but still full of life — a quiet garden that keeps unfolding the longer you sit with it.
