Some of my favorite mobiles begin simply because I'm enjoying the process.
This one-of-a-kind kinetic mobile started as an original hand-painted abstract painting on Evolon, a remarkable non-woven textile that is incredibly lightweight, exceptionally durable, and wonderfully responsive to even the gentlest movement of air. I chose Evolon not simply because it is lightweight, but because its strength and stability allow movement to become an essential part of the artwork.
Each painted shape was individually cut, carefully balanced, and suspended from hand-formed stainless steel rods. As the mobile slowly turns, soft watercolor-inspired passages mingle with bold abstract patterns, creating an ever-changing composition that feels playful, peaceful, and alive.
Its smaller size makes it especially well suited for nurseries, children's rooms, reading nooks, or any intimate space where gentle movement and color can quietly transform the atmosphere.
Because every mobile begins as an original hand-painted artwork, no two will ever be exactly alike.
